Over the past decade, Mozambique has firmly established itself as one of the world's most important ruby sources. The stones from this region are known for their vivid color and distinctive character – and this ruby is a fine example of both.

1.07 carats, octagonal cut. The octagon is a deliberate choice. Rather than chasing the brilliance of a round cut, it works with calm and clarity – broad, open facets that let the color speak without distraction. And the color here deserves exactly that kind of stage.

GRS grades it as "Pink-Red" – a tone that reads warmer and more approachable than a deep blood red, while remaining unmistakably within the ruby family. In natural light, the stone carries a soft luminosity that is difficult to capture in photographs but immediately apparent in person.

Unheated, GRS-certified. No heat treatment, no enhancement – the stone is exactly as it came from the earth. At 1.07 carats with this color quality, that is not something to take for granted.

The very minor inclusions are barely worth mentioning. At 6.74 × 4.84 mm, the stone fits comfortably into rings and pendants, wearing beautifully without ever losing its presence.
