2.49 carats, GRS certified, untreated. Anyone familiar with fine gemstones knows what these three points mean together. Gem Research Swisslab is among the most respected laboratories in the world, and its color grade of "Pink" is not given lightly. Add to that the finding of no indications of heat treatment – and you have a stone that is entirely as nature intended.
The oval cut at 9.53 × 6.88 mm gives the stone a generous face-up presence. Very minor inclusions are present, but for an untreated sapphire of this size and color intensity, the clarity is notably clean. The 4.33 mm depth provides good color saturation without excessive darkening at the center – a well-proportioned cut that does exactly what it should.
Unheated pink sapphires of this weight are actively sought in the market. This one has the certificate, the size, and the color to back that up.
