The antique oval cut on this 2.30-carat rhodolite garnet is exactly that kind of choice. Broader facets, quieter reflections, a warmth in the way light moves through the stone – it recalls an earlier era of gem cutting, where the goal was depth and soul rather than pure optical performance. On a rhodolite, it works beautifully.

Rhodolite occupies its own space in the pink spectrum – warmer than cold pink, richer than pale rose, with a purple undertone that surfaces and recedes depending on the light.
