1.12 carats, oval faceted, 6.21 × 5.10 mm. The dimensions are modest, but the stone reads larger than its measurements suggest – a credit to the oval cut, which makes the most of the color surface. At 4.25 mm deep, the cutter gave this stone exactly the right sense of body: volume without bulk. Minor inclusions are present, as is common for natural spinel of this quality, and they carry no visual weight whatsoever.
