Pink-Red is where this ruby lives – not quite the deep crimson of a classic pigeon's blood stone, not quite the delicate hue of a pink sapphire. Something in between, and genuinely appealing for it. IGI Antwerp confirmed the color grade on this 0.68-carat oval, which measures 6.39 × 4.66 mm across the face.
That surface area matters. It's what gives the stone its presence, what lets the color breathe and develop the way it should. The oval cut keeps things elegant – a soft silhouette, facetting that draws light toward the center, a depth of 2.65 mm that works well in most standard settings.
One practical note: there is minor chipping on the girdle at one point. Set the stone, and it's gone – no impact on how it looks face-up.
