detailed Description

Tanzanite – 1.34 Carats, Blue-Violet from the Foot of Kilimanjaro

There is only one place on Earth where tanzanite is found. A single mining area in northern Tanzania, within a few square kilometers of the Merelani Hills near Mount Kilimanjaro. Nowhere else. That geographical exclusivity alone would make tanzanite remarkable – but it is the color that truly sets it apart.

This 1.34-carat tanzanite displays a rich blue-violet that refuses to be pinned down to a single tone. In daylight it leans blue, cool and expansive. In warmer light, the violet asserts itself, deepening the stone and giving it an almost velvety quality. It is this constant, gentle shift between two colors that makes tanzanite unlike anything else in the gem world – and deeply difficult to put down once you are holding it.

At 8.44 x 6.35 x 3.55 mm, the stone carries its color well across the full face of the faceted oval cut. The oval shape is a natural match for tanzanite – it spreads the hue evenly, maximizes the interplay between blue and violet, and delivers a brilliance that feels refined rather than flashy.

Certified by the IGI – International Gemological Institute, one of the most recognized gemological authorities worldwide. An independent confirmation of authenticity and quality that gives every purchase a solid foundation.

Geologists estimate that known tanzanite deposits may be exhausted within decades. Acquiring a fine tanzanite today is not just a purchase – it is a decision that time will likely validate.
