detailed Description

Dark green is not simply dark. That is the difference you feel immediately with this tsavorite.

At 1.23 carats and 7.15 × 5.45 × 3.75 mm, the stone occupies a classic size – neither modest nor demanding. But the color is why you acquire it: a deep, saturated dark green that does not descend into gray-black, but remains alive. It is as though someone captured light and transformed it into green. This tsavorite from Tanzania carries that essential warmth within – a whisper of gold that saves the dark green from being austere.

The oval cut is designed to work with this color depth. With darker greens, shallow cutting is a risk – facets must break and return light, or the stone appears dull. Here, the craftsmanship is evident: the facets are positioned so the dark green glows rather than absorbs.

Very small inclusions are present, but with this color saturation, they are inconsequential. The eye sees color, not flaws. This is one of the great advantages of deeply colored stones – they are more forgiving than lighter-toned gems.

This matters: two independent certificates document this stone. Both the GLA and GIL confirm not only identity, but also origin from Tanzania. This is transparency that builds confidence. Buyers of this stone know exactly what they possess – and where it comes from.

A tsavorite that proves dark green does not mean seeing less. It means feeling more.
