In our shop, you will find a wide selection of gemstone rings. The rings were mainly made of gold alloys and complemented by one or more gemstones.
The gemstone bracelets (link) are also available with only one gemstone (as a solitaire) or with several gemstones (as a Riviére). In addition to bracelets loosely dangling on the arm, bracelets with gemstones are also possible.
Necklaces are usually connected with gemstone pendants and worn around the neck. In some chains, however, gemstones are integrated into the links. Colliers (shorter than necklaces and less mobile) are usually set with several gemstones and therefore look particularly magnificent.
Gemstone earrings are available as stud earrings, drop earrings, creoles or clips. You can also wear one or more gemstones on your ears.
You can combine several pieces of jewelry into a set, for example, by color, shape or gemstone type. You can combine a ring with a blue sapphire with a pendant that also has a blue spinel or blue topaz. What determines the price of gemstone jewelry?
- Creativity of the designer or goldsmith: the more creative and unique the design, the more expensive the jewelry.
- Type and quality of the gemstones: particularly valuable gemstones include blue sapphires, rubies and emeralds. The price of a gemstone is also influenced by the four C's: color, carat (weight), clarity (purity) and cut.
- Material used: the value of the jewelry increases with the value of the material. Precious metals such as platinum, gold and silver are particularly expensive.
- Work time of the goldsmith: The price also includes the work time required by the goldsmith to make the piece of jewelry.
Gemstone jewelry made of silver, gold or platinum
We attach great importance to high quality in our jewelry. Therefore, on the one hand, we guarantee the authenticity of the precious stones contained in our jewelry, and on the other hand, we manufacture the pieces of jewelry from precious metals. These include silver, gold, platinum and their alloys.
Alloys are almost always used for jewelry. Among other things, this optimizes hardness, polishability and color. A particularly common alloy, for example, is the 750/000 gold alloy. This contains 750 parts fine gold and 250 parts additives. Of these, 80 parts are copper and 170 parts silver.
With proper care and storage, your gemstone jewelry will stay as good as new for a long time.
- Store your jewelry individually, ideally in the box it came in. Otherwise, soft gemstones could be scratched by hard ones.
- Take off your jewelry before showering or sunbathing and do not wear it while doing sports.
- Put on jewelry only after applying make-up and styling your hair – sprays or make-up could soil or even damage gemstone jewelry.
- Use a soft cloth for cleaning. Proceed carefully to avoid damaging the gemstone setting.
- Have heavy soiling or signs of wear removed by a jeweler or goldsmith.
