This sapphire exhibits a beautiful blue color with a "Cornflower Blue" hue as certified by Lotus Gemology. The gemstone weighs 2.2 carats and measures approximately 8.6 mm in length, 6 mm in width, and 4.5 mm in depth.
The gem has very small inclusions and shows signs of thermal treatment. It has been cut into an oval shape with a modified brilliant cut on the crown and five facet rings on the pavilion.
