This sapphire features a pink hue and weighs 0.747 carats. The stone measures 8.4 millimeters in length, approximately 4.7 millimeters in width, and 2.4 millimeters in depth.

The vibrant pink of this stone, with its bluish undertones, is often referred to in the trade as “Hot Pink.” The bluish and violet tones are due to a particularly low iron (Fe) content. These sapphires closely resemble rubies in color, and in some cases, a laboratory may even certify them as such.

This sapphire exhibits minute inclusions and has excellent color quality.

The transparent gemstone has been cut into a faceted pear shape, with a brilliantly polished crown and three rows of facets on the pavilion. The pink sapphire shows no indications of thermal treatment.
