The transparent sapphire has been cut into a faceted oval. The crown (top) is brilliant-cut, while the pavilion (bottom) features four facet crowns. This cutting style is commonly referred to in the trade as the “Ceylon Cut.”

This pink sapphire has small inclusions, and no signs of treatment are present.
