The emerald is derived from the mineral beryl. This emerald has a green color and weighs approximately 2.5 carats. The stone measures around 9.6 millimeters in length, 7.5 millimeters in width, and 4.7 millimeters in depth.
This green gemstone features small inclusions. The transparent gemstone has been cut into a faceted octagon, with two tiers of facets on the crown and three tiers of facets on the pavilion. This cut is known as the Emerald Cut.
The stone originates from Colombia, as confirmed by the certificate from the International Gemological Institute (IGI Antwerp).
