Umbalite is a variety of the mineral garnet. This Umbalite appears green-gray under natural light (these Umbalites are also described as bluish) and reddish-purple under artificial light. It weighs 1.8 carats. The stone measures 8.4 millimeters in length, 6 millimeters in width, and approximately 4.7 millimeters in depth.
The green-gray stone has very small inclusions and exhibits good color quality. The transparent Umbalite garnet has been cut into a faceted oval. The crown of the stone is modified brilliant-cut, and the pavilion features four tiers of facets.
