Yellow-Green Paraiba Tourmaline

This Paraiba Tourmaline features a vibrant green color, with yellowish undertones that change depending on the light and angle of viewing. The stone has small inclusions. Paraiba tourmalines are recognized for their striking, bright colors. While most of these stones come in neon blue, there are also turquoise and greenish varieties.

Cut Enhances Color and Brilliance

The cut of this yellow-green Paraiba tourmaline enhances its color and gives it brilliance. Faceted gemstones typically have a pavilion (lower part) and a crown (upper part). The crown is the part of the stone that remains visible in the finished jewelry.

This Paraiba tourmaline is double brilliant cut, meaning it has two rows of main facets, in addition to the girdle facets and table facets. The pavilion of this yellow-green gemstone has been cut in the Portuguese cut, which features many rhombus-shaped facets.
